Spring Time is the Best Time!

I had a wonderful time taking spring family photos for my friend Kristin. One of the best parts about taking photos for them a few times is that the kids are more comfortable and relaxed for me. We had such a nice time walking through the woods on a walking path and the kids got to spend time running through the creek and playing off the path. The scenery was beautiful and it was such a nice day!

Some of my favorite shots I was able to capture were just candid moments. These shots just melt me! It sometimes seems like the time I spend doing the photos is mostly just hanging out and chatting... but I get to see the genuine moments and capture them. It is the reason I try to just let the kids be kids. I love it!

Of course... there are the posed (or semi-posed) moments, also. And while kids don't like to sit still long, or pose exactly how you want, as long as I space these posed shots out some, everyone is happier! How sweet is this family?? I am honored to continue to be able to capture these shots as the kids grow.
