Getting out of the house!

It has been a hectic week going back to work and getting back into the swing of the world. This past weekend I celebrated my friend Amber's 40th birthday at Narcisi Winery with a few friends. I am still hesitant to fully embrace "going out" with covid still lingering, but Narcisi seemed to really be cautious. There was a max of 6 people per party, masks were to be worn when not at your table, and the seating was spaced out. We found a great spot outside to sit under the pavilion (thank goodness because it was a hot one!). It was really nice to just enjoy some wine, delicious food, and wonderful company while taking in the scenery and ambiance.
While we were there, my friends Cori asked if I could take a few pics of her and her husband. I jumped at the chance! I am still learning of course so every chance I get to do portraits in a different lighting is really exciting. This was my first chance to really take advantage of twilight. I just snapped a few shots over the course of a minute or two, nothing too formal.

I am critical of course and know there are a few things I could have done to increase the overall quality of the photo, but I am happy I had the chance to learn and to capture my friends in such a beautiful setting!! Their album of photos can be found here: Cori & Corey
